IIRC the anime used a lot of current Fate VAs.

It did. Hitomi Nabatame (Arcueid) is Bazett, Kenichi Suzumura (Shiki) is Romani, Solomon, and Tawara Touta; Shizuka Itou (Akiha) is Luvia, Yumi Kakazu (Hisui) is Sapphire (after Miyu Matsuki's passing), Hiroyuki Yoshino (Roa) is Okada Izou, and probably most famously Kana Ueda (Kohaku) is Rin, Ishtar, and Ereshkigal.

Quite. Considering the cast, I always had the thought that the director must have told them to read the lines as flat and dull as they could.

I just realized Aniplex is co-publishing it. Might be a really good sign for a potential english localization, since aniplex does like gaijin money and are themselves running a VN brand that targets worldwide audience.

In japan the biggest problem is that young people dont play on PC. Over here, PC VN sales are fucked by piracy.

ive been saying for a long time that they need to get tsukirime on console, but i didnt expect them to go console only.

Hell, if by some miracle they do make an official localisation I'll even double dip - this is worth it IMO.

PC release date will likely come later. TM has enough of an audience to warrant an early-access exclusivity buy-in from Nintendo and Sony. They'll probably have sole access for a half year or so, at which point TM will drop another edition of it for PC with extra content. It's one reason why I say ero is still possible. The goal is to get people to buy it more than once.
