I've got to admit, between playing Melty Blood and watching Carnival Phantasm, I'm pretty attached to the old voice actors. It's rather disappointing that they've all been replaced.

There are some VNs that was first released as all age and than re-released as 18+ with additional content: Da Capo 3 was first released on both PC and PSP as 15+, and then re-released on PC as 18+ with H-scenes and recasted VAs, Sengoku Koihime was first released as all age, and then re-released with a lot of additional content and H-scenes as 18+ (both are PC versions).
Sometimes there are VNs that first released as 18+ for PC, then ported with additional content and removed H-scenes to consoles, and then console version ported back and H-scenes are added to new content from console. For example, Haruoto Alice * Gram

I think PC version will be released later (both Extella and Extella Link was first released on consoles and then on PC), but I agree that odds that H-scenes will be added in PC version is astronomically low.

I'm sure those would need to be rerelessed in Japan before even thinking about getting English localizations. They wouldn't bring over the old releases.

It feels wrong for SHIKI to have fancy old clothing for one, when the whole point of his character is that he's for the most part a guy that has crawled out of a basement after 10 years of being a hikki, and has to work with what's available, including pants that are one size too small.

Mean if Arcueid "I wear a grandma skirt " Brunestud and Tohno "My style is school uniforms and shitty t shirts" Shiki could get new drip. Who says SHIKI can't get any new style?

But I do think that the character in the trailer is a new person. He doesn't really scream Roa, Nero, or SHIKI.

Just to clarify, the character Skull asked about and I said it's most definitely Roa is dude with what looks like Roa's classic pianist shirt on a place that looks like the street were we first fight the bandage man, not the new sword dude.

Presumably Vacha’s upset because Sony censors stuff, but that’s a moot point anyway because there’s no reason for the remake to be an H-game. That said, PlayStation is an objectively good system even if the company sucks.

I’m still never going to read the Kohaku route though. I know what happened to her, and I refuse to let reading about it in detail ruin my delusion of her as a comic relief character.

Honestly, I thought I saw a beard and a square jaw, and there was definitely a cane there. I think that might actually be Zelretch, though what the faq he’s doing in Misaki City is too much for my lizard brain.
