Not bizarre as in weird by itself, rather it's bizarre that there would need to be a scene where this is suggested as if it's some kind of a big secret in the sexual confessional that is Tsukihime.

Was that implied in Tokie's sole scene? I didn't notice that at all and the only reason I know she was Shiki's sexual partner is because of the wiki. Then again I ended up skipping part of that scene by accident and didn't bother to re-read it.
What I find weird is that some lines in Tsukihime's h-scenes seemed to imply Shiki was still a virgin.

One of them is important backstory, and it is fucked up to add to the fucked-upness of the plot. Of course, it also is huge angst fuel, which has some merit. The other is a throwaway detail that Nasu added after the fact that doesn't exactly have the same narrative thrust. I mean, you could take the second one out without changing the plot, so I find it less narratively justified.
