None of those peeps probably don't give a shit about tsukihime itself I bet lol. Who cares anyways because having them make a new official youtube account is more than enough.

To be fair most people don't care about or know things until they hit public consciousness. Which is why having videos on multiple channels spreading the visibility is great. The tsukihime ip has been dead for many years and now they are attempting to revive it. Every thing is niche until it isn't.

Demon slayer is the most recent example as we can specifically point to the anime being the primary driver of growth. Tsukihime one day could just as easily ascend with enough eyes on it. Of course right now visual novels are inherently a niche medium.

I'm very interested in seeing sales numbers for Tsukihime remake. Console + Type-Moon brand being massive + the legendary title thats never coming out could lead to some interesting numbers.

Fact is, Leaf/Aquaplus managed to more than double the sales for utawarerumonos sequels by going from PC to console. and the OG utawarerumono came out in 2002 when Leaf was still one of the biggest brands in the VN world.

Anime adaptation will certainly boost the sale by a hefty margin. Especially if it's ufotable doing it.

I think a ufotable anime adaption is just a matter of time, unless aniplex suddenly decides to strong-arm them and give it to A-1 or Cloverworks.

Although the UFO adaptation is quite a certainty, I dare say that I doubt a little it will come before the Seibah route one.

I actually don't believe Fate(the route) will get adapted. Saber is still the face of the franchise but things are way far removed from FSN at this point. Saber route is not a necessity to milk her. I am more concerned over a potential FHA anime though, however the hell they plan to accomplish that one. If not, then Tsukihime is the only logical next step, provided the game is a success.

I would say things will be better answered when the Heavens Feel BD releases.
If that screenshot of Arthoria on the last episode scene ends up as an extra content, I guess you could rule out the Fate route adaptation.

But, if the scene is nowhere to be seen on the BD, that is, at minimum, an indicative of Ufotable Fate route.

Wrong order. An anime would only come if the Remake makes the numbers. As for a Fate anime, I already made my stance on that, since they have already had it done technically twice(one straight, one abridged), I doubt it will be done again. Ufo definitely looks like they would be super passionate for a Hollow one.
But yeah, the sales results of the Tsukihime Remake are likely what will decide the fate of any anime possibly being produced, unless they go Squeenix route and make a movie/anime/manga(?) tie in to go full corporate marketing machine. They have the money, but do they have the guts to shill that hard for a project that may or may not give them Fate numbers?

It's from the opening video that was displayed at the 15th anniversary exhibition, and some Saber screenshots from that video were included in the FSN15th book. They only animated the "Welcome back, Shirou" scene from what I've heard.

What I meant with the sentence you quoted was that ufo doing the opening animation for the VN doesn't really impact munny all that much. If they do decide to do an anime though, then yes there will be a significant amount of coin made due to ufotable's involvement.

Like I said, I'm still convinced that if TM really wants to make an anime out of it - especially if they start hinting at it before the game even drops - that 2021 Tsuki will be only one or two routes.

Also, wtf, Hollow anime? How on earth would that work and why is there reason to believe it's possible?

It could be a gag anime like Carnival Phantasm. The fact that Carnival Phantasm as a concept worked so well bodes well for a Hollow anime IMO.

Give it a Haruhi stucture. One Episode light hearted daytime hijinks, followed by one episode of Bazette and Angra doing War stuff. Even better would be going with two different art styles throughout. Give the daytime stuff a rounder and softer art style like a comedy, and Baz one with a sharp lines and shaders like you'd see in AoT or something. Then gradually have the two switch at random points near the end to play up the disconnect.

I believe a rewritten fate route is in the plans. Aniplex loves money and we know they did already have plans early on before blade works to do it.

At this point i think we won't see it until fates 20 anniversary.

By the same token i think an anime adaption in some form regarding tsukihime 2021 is inevitable. Tm are not just doing this for an old 20 year old tease but to grow the tm branding further out to new audiences and capitalizing on that is just smart business

Ufotable will make Tsukihime anime even without asking. the studio was found to animate Kinoko's works anyway.
