I guess this is pretty late considering the trailer dropped a few days ago already, but I have to say. The more footage comes out, the more I'm comfortable with the redesigns. I'll still like the originals better, especially Ciel, but I don't dislike them as much as I did when first coming into contact with the original remake article. And, the original will still be there if I have any complaints. I just hope they don't try to substitute the original with the remake, and still acknowledge the difference present.

I don't dislike Arc's redesign as much as ten years ago, but I'm still not over them myself. Ciel looks too different, too, but I can live with it. I sort of understand where you're coming from.

I'm assuming they'll treat the remake as the "definitive/complete/ultimate" version for the Nasuverse from now on. Otherwise Nasu would have to backpedal a lot if he wanted to keep details intact. This is under the premise that the remake is indeed a remake, guess we'll have to wait until it comes out.

I think they're different enough properties, and that enough other media have been made using original canon as a base, that Nasu will have to acknowledge the simultaneous existence of both.

I feel like nasu will differentiate between og tsuki stuff and tsuki re. But i also think he will make it clear that tsuki re is intended as a hard reboot. So while the original still exists, dont expect it to ever be referenced again. I expect whatever tsuki re introduces to be the definitive content they will bring into tms future, not the dojin game material
