Plot twist: The remake is already done/almost done and will be released in synch with FGO finale. The vampire story he wants to write after FGO is actually a Tsukihime gacha.

He did an interview recently that Siliconera got ahold of saying that part 2 of FGO is about halfway done. We can't really expect anything from the shroom anymore, but theoretically he'd be starting/working on/finishing the rewrite then.
Also, k8nd of warming to the idea of a rewrite the more I think about OG Shiki and the potential it has + the fact that it's a multiverse anyway, making both effectively canon.

And...? If anything putting Arcueid in the gacha will only further delay the remake since there won't be much of a thirst for Tsuki content anymore.
