Ah yes, the Super Mario World cartoon. Kinda short-lived compared to the Super Show and Mario 3, though. :P

Mostly because it was done as an adjunct to Captain N, I think - and to my eternal dismay, it was on its last legs at the time.

Yeah, that's what happens, man. Speaking of Captain N, I did see a lot of it on Saturday mornings.

And second only to "The Centurions" as my favourite cartoon of all time - so I was so pleased to be able to pick it up on DVD.

I'm in Jackie Chan nostalgia at the moment, going through all the 90's films i grew up with.
Starting with (appropriately enough) "First Strike".
--Edit--
Well damn, i just learned that today is Jackie Chan's birthday, what a freaky coincidence.

The things you could do back when you had direct control over the hardware without layers of drivers and such in between (like Tran's weirdo '21-bit' video modes... my monitor could luckily handle that back in the day without blowing up)
One must know the path one runs even if the ground underfoot is not as one chooses
Have you ever seen the original still shots from The Empire Strikes Back before the edited the walkers in over the blue screen?
Only remember seeing 2 movies of his back in the day, Who am I and Rumble in the Bronx.
But your post reminded me of another Jackie Chan thing I had forgotten about, Jackie Chan adventures and the best character of any cartoon of that era, Uncle.
"Magic must defeat Magic!"
Spoilered for your convenience

Yvonne Craig has passed away of breast cancer on August 17, at the age of 78. Originally a ballerina, she was an actress of some repertoire in the 1960s, and an activist in later life. However, her probably best known role is the reason I'm posting this message here:
She was the first to portray Batgirl outside the comics, and the whole reason Barbara Gordon became Batgirl in the first place (the TV series wanted a female lead, so the comics had her suit up). And she was a major crush for grade-school me.
Rest in peace, dear lady - and thank you.
