Risking the potential shitstorms this topic can invoke, I'm posting this thread.

Nasuverse Power Tier List:

This thread is to organize the wide number of TypeMOON characters into the diverse tiers of power. This isn't about who can defeat who but about the general standing in strength. Considering the chemistry of certain abilities, even the most powerful creatures can be downed with characters several tiers lower (U R example: Godo killing an Aristoteles). Alright, here we go:

Tier 0 (top tier):

The rank of various god-like cosmic wills and similar entities. I.e: Akasha or Gaia.

Again, I hope we can discuss this in a civilized manner. I seriously wish for a reliable tiering for TM chars. This thread can be referenced for future power debates or updated if we got some new info. Although I'm not delusional enough to think it can prevent rabid power discussions. Just consider it as a future guide.

Well, Fairies probably do count as very low tier transcendent entities. Surely bellow Alaya or Gaia for example.

Does Ado Edem exist in a concrete Tier? I mean, he must be much stronger than a normal human, but he cannot hope to be as strong as an Aristoteles, yet he eats them for breakfast. If anything, Slash Emperor is 0-1 tier.

Well, Ado Edem is very-very far from "just" a normal human.
Here some "feats" from Ado Edem:

- can output energy comparable or higher than a Nuke (powerscaling from the Angel A-Rays whom are supposed to be the Ether Liners' equals at best)
- Survived TypeJUPITER's explosion which annihilated the entire Eurasian continent
- strong enough to wield a dual sword multi tens of kilometers long at both sides.
- capable of levitation (as evidenced on his character art)

And then we have Slash Emperor. It has the following attributes:
- starts out as demonic seed in Edem's palm
- can grow to about any size at the speed of thought(so probably as close as instant)
- it's presence temporally cuts away the Blood Sky created by the SIX SiSters and reveals the "truth" (the real sky)
- The later may suggests similar anti-world property as Ea.

As for it's "weakness" (only grows as large as his enemy): I call that bollocks again. For one Edem's sword must be at least a little longer than the target to even reach it. Seriously how do you expect him cutting apart TypeSATURN? Well, unless he can fly so fast to compensate for it.

Also even if it stands, Edem can just target like a country to have his sword grow huge enough. Then swing it in a way that the path overlaps with his foe. Done deal.

Nah, be a bit more flexible. It's not like a year ago. Also shitstorm or not, if we suceed we reduce the inane powerlevel debates in a long run.
Well, we'll see how it turns out. I opened this thread knowing full well the potential for anything terrible. There's a considerable chance for failure. Yet I'm optimist and hope we can manage to complete this.

Yeah, I think he's a solid Tier 1. Mr. Edo "broken" Edem is probably at the same level as certain Types.

No, not because Nasu said ORT-chan is the strongest Type. It's because of Crystal Valley. The description says that it's a reality warping ability that overwrites the reality of Earth into the reality of Mercury. It transforms everything to crystaline-based forms, even the trees become crystal pillars. In short ORT's ability can transmute damn well anything in its vicinity, both organic and inorganic. That means Ado Edem would end up as a mere chunk of crystal while facing ORT.

But Ado Edem's ability isn't useful against human-sized opponents. What else would be the reason he didn't do anything worthy of mention in the battle against the A-Rays. That would be like ranking Gun God on the same level as a Type just because he killed one.

He did. Just that he wasn't the "Oh shit he's humanity's last hope!" kind of character before. One explanation is the environmental damage of Slash Emperor. To create the sword, Ado Edem must consume the equivalent of landmass from Earth. Also I figure he can't use this ability just casually, meaning it isn't that good against multiple opponents.

Well, unless you do a sweeping motion with that colossal blade.

Still, how could he tank a continent-level explosion? That amount of endurance should've made him stand out, yet he didn't. Why?

Also, something with high enough prana levels should be able to withstand the crystallization. You know, like how a Servant with an A-rank MGI stat is only slightly bothered by Rider's eyes, and all that.

I'm not sure he can just target the world and then just "happen" to also hit his opponent. If so, then is basically the same as saying that he can grow Slash Emperor as much as he wants. I'd guess at the moment he tries to hit someone the sword automatically grows or shrinks in accord.
And it's said that the growing is the only trick Slash Emperor has; otherwise he should be about as strong as any other Knight (which would probably still be very strong compared to any present-day character).

I am pretty sure the speed of thought doesn't come close to being instantaneous. Unless his thoughts run on bloody Powerthirst.
