Well it's definetly great to see this story again. It's like a breath of fresh air to me.

Anyway, my favorite part of the fic has to be Kentaro and Kariya. It's an interesting dynamic because Kentaro isn't simply Kariya's 'kill that' Servant. He adds an outsider perspective on the plight of Kariya and Sakura, especially since he points out Kariya ignors Shinji's own pain. And that's the thing: Kariya's goal, while noble, is in the end selfish becase deep down he WANTS Sakura and Rin to be his daughters and Aoi to love him. In the end, that's what it is. And it's great that you actually bring this up.

Saber is Arthur Pendragon from Fate/Prototype; his Master is Manaka's dad.

Assassin is still paired with Kirei, IIRC.

Well his desire isn't just about being noble, he does feel responsible for the current situation to a point, because of his decision to leave long ago spurned quite the domino effect (even if it was objectively smart), so that is another part of the equation. It's not hard for him to feel the same dissociation to a point with the family, being that he himself never really had a parental figure, so it's basically a new thing to have a positive parental influence. They are terrible family because the bond ain't there. There are adults in the house, but no parents.

This is a good change for Kariya though. I'm starting to see the same sort of mentoring that was the Alexander/Waver bond here. Heroic Spirits were guides for the leople, so I guess he is doing his natural duty.

I got the impression Manaka is still his Master as usual. The dad is just acting as a decoy like Irisviel.

Will Enkidu use his version of Enuma Elish at some point?

I can't speak for Kiiam, but he's probably in the same boat as all the other authors who used Enkidu before Fate/Strange Fake got the green light. He'll probably just push ahead with his own concept of the character.

He already gave Enkidu the Gate of Babylon (Fake), which doesn't seem to have any FSF analogue.

In regards to Enkidu, since I already established his stats and character before the release of its official stat sheet along with the reboot of Strange/Fake (Which I only found out about just recently) I'm just going to use what I have already and I don't plan to change anything. The backstory I've written so far for it, as shown in Waver's dream sequence, along with what I already plan for it parallels the official material already so I'm just gonna move forward with my own plans. So I'm keeping his already revealed stats, abilities, and Noble Phantasm Gate of Babylon (Fake).

That's not to say I won't incorporate some of the official material. Maybe I will, maybe I won't. Maybe is the keyword here.

Enkidu seems the same so far across most of his fandom representations to me. A serene guy that hides true power. And usually they go with his green haired look. What got invalidated aside stats?

From what I saw, Enkidu completely lacked stats. There were no letter beside its Strength, Prana, Luck, etc. Only its Noble Phantasm which was A++ I think. It also had Transfiguration as an ability. Plus Enuma Elish. So... I guess rather than wiping clean what its got I'm just keeping the stats I already gave it.

yeah, it gives him has complete control over his stats thanks to the Transfiguration ability. it just gives him a pool of points he can freely distribute at will among his parameters, with A+ costing double the points as A. So Strange Fake Enkidu is able to have the most efficient stat spread possible for every action/move he takes.

it's a pretty big blow to uses of Enkidu in fanfics, so it's probably best to keep what you have - it's really hard to retcon/implement something like that retroactively, but such is the risk of using canon characters with undefined abilities. Once they get defined, it's troublesome, lol. but it shouldn't invalidate the effort you put into yours before that.

No, that's really it.

His characterization in various stories hasn't really changed from what we've seen in the FSF prologue. It's just the powers and stats that the author has written up for him that get blasted by canon.

I think transfiguration also has to with his shapeshifting so it's not just point allocation randomly before a battle but when he transforms into something is when he allocates points. That's just speculation though.

On the other hand Enkidu still has an unspecified NP so yeah. Anyone's game right now.
