I did enjoy the attacking the incredibly overpowered opponent when doing their overly long powerup sequence. If only Dragonball had the same logic....
For some reason, I'm pretty sold on this. Also, Takuya Eguchi is voicing another guy I think I can like. But the trap... the trap!!! He/She/It comes with boobs to boot!
I guess this shall be the laughfest I'll be having for the season.

I'll admit, when I first saw the trailer I wasn't impressed and was going to initially write this one off. But when I found this out
coupled with the fact that its Araragi's VA for the protag, as well as actually seeing the episode and experiencing firsthand just how funny this was, I decided to stick this in my watch-list right where it belongs.Originally Posted by Codename: Strike

I don't think anyone (even 4chan) expected this first episode to be as awesome as it was.
But it was. Everything was so damn awesome.

Poor Kon. Not a single viable love interest in sight in this first episode.
Refrigerator humor if I ever saw it.
What I also thought was funny was how he tried to get genre savvy about the new fantasy world he was in, only for it to backfire on him and shatter his expectations to itty pieces.

After so much Phi Brain, I couldn't stop thinking of Freecell whenever ED was talking.
Uh, he plays the white-haired dude, not the protag man. I think I did mention earlier the protag's voiced by Takuya Eguchi (still a funny voice to hear).
Oh, directed by the guy who did Gintama and Nichibros? No wonder I enjoyed this as much as I did.
A toast to ED's possibly regained balance after maybe losing his other jewel.
EDIT: Actually, after that ending song, yeah, it prolly be gone yo.

This show is pretty damn enjoyable, even if it does look rather... antiquated, I guess? The character designs at least.
The designs look antiquated because they're meant to look like 90s JRPGs. It's Final Fantasy Quest of the Moon Dragon's Sword up in this show.
Well at least Erec is balanced now.
Still a rocket hammer to the balls seems like overkill...
