Okay, this... is getting weird. The last 4 games I played as Ashe? Kicked ass in all of them.
Hell, one normal game had me goind at least 11/0 before getting jumped by Jax, Xin Zhao and Rammus (the last one I was poking and got him down to half health). Then Just got another legendary with Ashe (this time ranked. RANKED!).
I'm thinking I might be in a losing streak soon.

I think you need to learn what the word 'throw' means.
Anyway, at that point in the game, CLG had once again swung back into the lead, and had also taken the bottom inhib. At this point, DIG had already pretty much lost the game. If they did nothing, they would have lost the game 100% (barring a giant CLG misplay) because CLG could have just taken the baron and powered through. If they tried contesting the baron from CLG, CLG could have just stalled them out and let the supers bot lane push through and destroy their base. Their only shot at somehow turning the game around was to rush a baron while CLG went back to base to heal and buy after their inhib kill. If they managed to burn down baron fast enough, they could buy time to defend their base and perhaps make it back into the game. It was a low chance of success, sure, but it's better to take a 10% chance at a shot to comeback rather than just sit around on a 0% chance of victory.
It's called a 'throw' because you 'throw away' the lead. At that point, DIG was not in the lead, and this was what was called a 'desperation baron'. Sure, it didn't pay off, but it was a low-chance gamble to begin with.
tl;dr: Just because the final teamfight was lost at baron doesn't mean 'HERP DERP BARON THROW'

They were pretty much equal.
There was no reason to go for baron.
Your CLG bias shines through.
Rewatch the ending to that game. How the fuck were they equal. DIG cannot defend against a CLG siege, especially with baron and super minions knocking down their bot lane.
They did not have a gold lead. They did not have a level lead. They did not have a map pressure advantage.
That is the very opposite of 'being equal'.

Dig did in fact have a gold lead of 1k.
The level difference was non-existent. They were all literally the same level.

You forget just 3 minutes earlier dig had been probing in CLG's base and killed their inhib turret.
Dignitas had amazing anti-siege because they had Ziggs, but really, that wasn't that big a factor, this game had 0 sieges.

Even though they were probing the base, that is not a lead capable of being called a throw and you know it. Just admit the game was even already, Petri.
