What: Vindictus is a hack and slash F2P MMORPG (massively multiplayer online role-playing game) created by Nexon, a prequel to the popular MMORPG Mabinogi

Special Features: Uses the Source engine for extensive environmental interaction and brutal, immersive combat

Why Now: ANY CHARACTER YOU MAKE WILL IMMEDIATELY BE JUMPED TO LEVEL 50.

Yes, this means you get level 50 gear to go with it - so you get to go into an epic MMO and enjoy it without the normal grind (and since its a Korean MMO, it would normally have quite the grind - I did get to level 70 - the cap - with my main, so I know a thing or two about it).

Classes: Instead of straight classes, you choose between one of five characters, each of which has certain strengths and weaknesses:

• Lann: Dual-Wielder - pretty much a melee DPS who excels at dodging enemy attacks
• Fiona: Sword and Shield/Hammer and Shield - Tank/Burst DPS, excelling at Counter attacks and taking damage that would kill anyone else
• Evie: Magic User (Scythe or Staff) - Healer/Crowd Controller, Ranged and/or melee attacker
• Karok: Pillar or Cestus user - Smashes things. More details below
• Kai: Uses Bows - Ranged DPS. Also jumps onto bosses' heads and shoots them in the face.
