Basically I have a presentation about my work and this person criticize me crazily (and on pointly) and throwing borderline insults that I can't say back.
But then in that job's whatsapp group (which consists of people that their opinions matter like my boss) he only says good stuff about me like how clear and calm I am while leaving the part he criticize me. He does say stuff like I should improve on those things but not in a way that makes me lose credibility.

In that case, it's possible he just thought (probably correctly) that tearing into a co-worker in an open channel might be seen as poor form by others.
He is not a co-worker. He works for the company that contracted our service, and his job (on this particular work) is to ensure that the data we provide is reliable and accurate. He have all the reason to shit on me and get away with it.

Or he really wanted you to take those criticisms to heart, so that next time you do that much better. I've had that from the head office guys who come in once a year to appraise the shop. They always tear us a new asshole, and find some sort of small minutia that isn't perfect, and then when we get the evaluation a week later it's "95% one of the best stores they've seen in months, keep it up". And all we can think is that they did nothing but bitch and moan the entire time they were here.
