What is the reasoning behind 'delete Flash' anyways, rather than stop updating it?

Have you ever been playing a some RPG or adventure game, and when you're three steps away from the next quest your party starts a long bit of banter, so you start walking around waiting for it to end, circling the speaking party member first, then spinning the camera in the opposite direction and next thing you know it's the Kirei scene from Fate/Zero?

Open standards such as HTML5, WebGL, and WebAssembly have continually matured over the years and serve as viable alternatives for Flash content. Also, major browser vendors are integrating these open standards into their browsers and deprecating most other plug-ins (like Flash Player). See Flash Player EOL announcements from Apple, Facebook, Google, Microsoft and Mozilla.

Ehhh... I could rant, but I won't. The standalone Flash player still works for me. If we're lucky, they won't time bomb it.

Deen/SN was good, other than the bad parts. It is known.

In a completely unrelated topic, one of my coworkers said that I lack empathy. This is false. Rather, it's just that I tend to empathize with characters that most other people don't, even if it means that I don't empathize with characters that most other people do, as a result. For example, I totally and completely empathize with Hermaeus Mora's (Skyrim) obsession with collecting forbidden knowledge, even if that knowledge is completely and totally useless, such as Mora brain-draining a shaman just to get the secrets of the Skaal.


In terms of my knowledge-collecting exploits, despite modern works being much more... detailed and explicit (in other words, stop telling me to "just look up R34"), I still data-mined and researched until I got the Japanese/Spanish fully uncensored version of the Dragon Rider hentai (NSFW: https://chan.sankakucomplex.com/post/show/6961307 ) or the movie version of Overfiend Inferno Road (which has more scenes than the series version: https://haho.moe/anime/3a0vx9nw/1 NSFW), or the fact that I am interested in getting this version of Super Metroid: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cXsPJFbyRBc (see previous comment about R34 before responding with any quips or retorts). Unfortunately, I am not a demon god and cannot brain-drain to get this forbidden or rare knowledge.

We're in the middle of fake spring around here. You know, that week or two in the middle of winter where you get up to 10 degrees, which is then followed by a month of snowstorms and -20 weather until basically May.
