That was the point, really. I've been burnt by so many 10 buck one week wonder controllers that I decided I'd spend a bit more and get something with a good company's name behind it. Worst comes to worst, at least I'll have a warrantry at hand.
Anyway, I'll let you know when it arrives and I put it through the paces.

I've always just synced up my console controllers. The only issueI've ever run into is the games that don't let you change X-box inputs into Playstation ones.

Never owned a console (barring handhelds), so.
The input switching is an issue I've noticed with ostensibly PC controllers as well; regardless of whether it has X's and Y's or squares and circles, some games seem to default to one or the other with no regard for what you actually have plugged in.

How many pages are most light novels because I don't think 200+ pages is "light"?
Spoiler:
From what I recall, 200-300 pages is fairly standard.

The "light" part refers to their thematology, not their size, anyway.

Maybe they're measuring themselves against Tom Clancy style, 1300 page door stoppers?

I dunno what Tom Clancy did (besides attach his name to a ridiculous amount of videogames), but even in the Western equivalent of LNs (stuff like Black Library books or the average fantasy serial like Dresden Files) <500 pages seem to be an accepted standard. Up to 800-900 for later installments of more popular series (Dresden Files again). Even the last Harry Potter book only went up to what, 1200?
EDIT: Not even that, I vastly overestimated it (then again, my copy was hardcover and felt like it weighed a ton): The Deathly Hallows was apparently only ~600 pages long. Dresden Files' Battle Grounds was only 400~.

I've found most normal paperbacks books tend to be about 300 pages.

A low context required clip reel of the crazy people I watch or just put up as background noise.

While the "not because you're a rabbit, but because you're black" always gets thrown around, my favourite bit is all the times MC realizes her mom was gay.

O walls, you have held up so much tedious graffiti that I am amazed you have not already collapsed in ruin.

Alright, controller arrived yesterday and I've suitably put it through the paces by marathoning the last 20 stages of DMCV (I may or may not have pulled an all-nighter). Final verdict: controller's solid, the buttons respond appropriately, the triggers are sensitive, and the D-pad is unique in having four contacts instead of one, which seems to give it a bit extra sensitivity (can't tell yet how that affects the ability to DP or fireball or other fighting game motions). Nothing fancy, but then, you get what you pay for.
Of course, the real tests I'm interested in are the test of time and/or resistance to fall-on-floor-y damage, which can't be completed overnight. Time will tell, I suppose.

So when I went to the liquor store today I decided to grab something new, and grabbed a couple different flavoured vodka's. Cracked open the Watermelon-Mint one today and damn does it smell perfect, but the minute it touched my lips all the flavour I smelled disappeared leaving behind nothing but bland vodka taste. I've resorted to using it as a mixer, which is disappointing since I could have just picked up a Mio at the grocery store, added it to the booze and gotten a better result. I hope the blueberry turns out better, but at this point I'm not holding my breath.

So I don't know if anyone watched the Eurovision Song Contest this year or cares about it in general (tbh I wouldn't have either under normal circumstances) but the winning song has an opening riff ripped straight out of Bad Apple and I can't get over that
