It's all wind, no thunder. The wind settled down earlier, but then picked up again this afternoon and now it's as loud as it ever was. It's still strong enough that I could feel the vibration when I was briefly resting in bed. But I feel confident that my windows aren't going to crack, which is what I was mainly worried about since this part of QLD is not built for cyclones as we never ever get them, so I had no idea what to expect.
Yeah, constant strong gusts are unsettling, feels like something that might tear something off and suddenly water's inside.

A leak in my bedroom developed during the storm (nothing came in through the window but the floor ended up damp anyway), and honestly I feel pretty chill about it because it's not my responsibility to fix, nothing vital got wet, etc etc. But I will say that it is nuts that the last time there was a leak in my bedroom, in a different apartment, I was also having cluster headaches at the time. In fact, that was the last time before this cluster that I'd experienced them...
In conclusion, if there is a fresh leak in my bedroom during the next cluster, I will be forced to seriously consider that either psychic powers are real, or I'm living in a simulation.
Pretty sucky to have psychic powers only useable during a cluster-headache though.
It would be better than cluster headaches without psychic powers, but only if the psychic powers in question cause something positive to happen instead of just "well, damn, something broke in the walls again". I would much rather ~*~manifest~*~ my position in the neurology queue getting bumped up.

I know the pain.
Back when I was competitively swimming I was literally always hungry. I was probably eating in excess of 5000 calories a day. For 2 years at University I would for lunch and dinner have minimum 3 cheeseburgers, plate of fries, bowl of spinach, chocolate milk, and often ice cream and cookies. Only for half an hour to pass and then I would get hungry again.
Holy shit, that's a lot of calories.
