I check the New Posts tag every time but I only go into threads of topics I am interested in. I knew about the server change but I still keep to my handful of threads.
I know none of the fanfic people and am always amazed to see so many unrecognizable faces every time I read CaS to mark it as read on mobile

Have you recently updated your phone or system? CJK encoding can be tricky, and you could have been or are now using a chinese font instead. Has happened to me before, to the point of some kanji actually being hanzi before the switch.

With the upcoming Trump tariffs about to start on computer parts I decided to just get a new PC now since I was already planning on shuffling stuff around for what I currently have to friends/family that were needing upgrades anyway. Didn't have a huge preference for the 5070 Ti vs the 9070 XT, just went with what I could get without relying on my family near a Microcenter because they were never actually able to go to that Microcenter when MSRP models were in stock. GPU and monitor were on a Newegg deal though I could have saved a little money getting something else, oh well.
MSRP models around here are like Bigfoot. Nobody's ever seen one and the majority of sane people are convinced it's a hoax.

Kept hearing the sound of furniture moving around just out of sight of the welcome desk. I peak my head around at the lounge and there's a small cluster of students looking at me with incredibly guilty expressions, but nothing visibly out of sorts. Okay, I think. They took the fucking study tables in the lounge and turned them on their side, vertically, and were playing wall ball off of them.
In the university library. Literally right outside of classrooms with classes in session. Adults with full facial hair, who started "fair enough"-ing me when I asked if they were fucking serious.
