I really don't get how telling someone to just let their emotions out kicking them. If I wanted to cry I'd cry. I found that it's the only thing that makes me feel better when there's nothing I can do about it.
Spoiler:
It's the flippancy. Like I can understand that the fact that I'm talking about a peanut butter sandwich probably makes this seem like not the most serious of topics, but the fact that I somewhat lightly bring up something that is currently going on for me that involves genuine, if irrational, feelings of being disappointed, tired, and upset is not something that I would myself bring up if it weren't a little pressing on my mind. I'm not trying to tell everyone here every time I have a mildly bothersome thought, and I try not to be a nuisance to people. But I don't callously joke about my own feelings or especially talk about disappointment as though it's not a real issue for me. I know you don't know me that well so you might not be able to know that, and I know that you've tried to commiserate before, but the problem with this kind of response is that it seems like a sarcastic remark that is designed to make light of my emotions. It is because it sounds trite or dismissive. Even if you don't intend it that way, tone and level of attention to something you say makes a difference, especially when someone is kind of having a bad day anyway. You probably don't know or intend for it to come off that way, but sometimes it sounds like being told to stop talking in a way that is certainly not friendly encouragement or banter.
What better way for misunderstandings to pop up than a text based form of communication...

I personally try not to make too big a deal on my emotions especially to people on the internet but that's me.

Although I do feel like I'm a more emotional person than a lot of other people, I just try not to show it to others...
That statement doesn't convey flippancy, only an end to a simple conditional sentence. He didn't imply that talking about peanut butter is not serious, you made that conclusion, if I were to guess, because that's how you think it would look from someone else's perspective based on your personal experience and because he didn't use words carefully in his answer for reasons you again supposed, because you don't know him well enough either.
Basically, fuck non-visual conversations.
And, Ghost, the hugging can be creepy.
Spoiler:
It's easy to misread tone online. The pbj comment itself came off as a joke to me when I was just skimming through. You know, like when someone says something like, "That movie was so terrible. My whole week is ruined!"
He never sleeps. He never dies.
Battle doesn't need a purpose; the battle is its own purpose. You don't ask why a plague spreads or a field burns. Don't ask why I fight.
Anyway, have my cat.

Isn't she?
I need to get checked-up right now. My bladder hurts.
"Here's a bangin lil' tune about takin' on The Man!"

Someone in the Tumblr Classics community made a joke. What a mistake.

Fuckin' got 'im.
nom/voc/acc/gen/dat/abl is the Australian way, so I'm pretty sure it is a commonwealth thing
IIRC it was Kennedy's primer that standardised that order
すい水てん天ほう彷ふつ彿
はるかな海上の水と空とが接していて、どこまでが水でどこまでが空かはっきり見分けられないさ ま。
His introduction kind of implies it was already standard:
"In a text-book of this kind there is an obvious advantage in keeping, wherever it is possible, a popular and well-understood system, and I believe that the old order of Declension is, from a purely philological point of view, wholly unobjectionable."
(Interestingly, when he comes to actually discuss the cases and not merely order them in a paradigm, he goes Nom/Voc/Acc/Dat/Abl/Gen).
