I read somewhere that mw is better for getting the full nutritional value of some veggies than cooking.

yeah you can get steamers for the microwave. put some water in the lower tray, toss some veggies in the upper tray, throw that shit in the microwave and you're golden.

You get less if you cook your meat rare, but then there's the issue of foodborne illness, like ecoli and salmonella.
Microwaving the meat beforehand has been shown to reduce HCA after the meat has been grilled.
