My headphone jack popped off again and this time got stuck inside the port. I didn't have any way to get it out so I went in and unscrewed the panel, ripped off the soldered piece and popped it out. Also didn't have any way to solder it back on so I put everything back and made sure the USB ports still worked. They did, so I'm good.
Thank goodness for rear speaker ports. Soldering on that front piece is going to take me awhile, but in the meantime I have an alternative.

How did you manage to pop it off while also getting it stuck in the port
I'm not sure if people need reminding of this per se but please always remember that Jurassic Park is actually one of the best movies of all time
It had already popped off once, so it was only a matter of time before it happened again. Wish it hadn't done so while in the port, but, eh,
