I know the idea is to not do too many politics on this thread, but given how much it's been in the periphery for... basically forever during my experience on this site, I just feel like I should give a brief shout-out to our many Brazilian users for having a reason to be optimistic. Hopefully you guys survive your inevitable Jan 6 moment.

One of the very rare instances I feel proud of my country is when it's this time of once-in-4-years and all the foreigners, especially the Americans, have their "wtf how does Brazil count 214 million votes in 1 hour?" reactions.

Can anyone tell me what it is about a Work Wonnie that makes life easier than owning a dress shirt and sweatpants that aren't sewn together? 'Cause I was just reminded while browsing YouTube yesterday that this exists, and six months after I first heard of (and then forgot about) it, I'm still at a loss.

Just got back from Guy Fawkes' Night. The people running the fireworks show were clearly out of practice since they were blatantly out of sync and only the climax had a particularly interesting design pattern. But low key, it was so much fun to be out celebrating the day again, hanging out with people in the freezing cold November air and nattering about how the kids these days don't even understand why we do this every year.

I hear Jack Dorsey is starting up a new company that's basically Twitter 2.0. Apparently some people are on the waiting list already so they can be the first to grab their name with no random numbers, underscores or capitalizations.

I was floated the idea in a Discord server of a video game isekai in which the protagonist is a speedrunner for one of the buggiest games ever made. I guess I'm writing a oneshot or something.
