The anime became Z at the Saiyan Saga.

I know, and in many ways, it was a good split; not only did the ending of the 23rd Tenkaichi Budokai feel too much like a series finale, but the post-Piccolo arcs feel too different from the earlier ones both thematically and aesthetically. I just think it helps to remember that everything was "conceived" as a single, continuous storyline; it emphasises how bonkers the plot actually is.

And I know what you mean - I was obsessed with Saint Seiya as a kid, to the point of blowing off friends to watch reprises, and last time I tried to watch it, it was just so... Bland.

I remember getting fed up with post-pain naruto to the point it was almost the first anime I dropped, would've been if bleach's bount arc didn't exist

I fear watching naruto nowadays because I really don't feel like tainting those memories

The curse of a medium-sized apartment is that you can spend a while going "ahh, it's not so bad, I'll get to it eventually" while things pile up, until inevitably they become insurmountable. I sometimes wish I had the efficient economy of a small space.

This reminds me that I am both great at fitting an unsurmountable amount of things in tiny spaces, yet am even better at procrastinating shelf installation. I feel bad for the games that have sat beneath my desk for almost a year.

Got my Covid booster today, and while the actual appointment was the easiest thing ever the run around to get it was a pain in the ass. To start with three weeks ago when it opened up to my age group, the first appointment I could book was mid March through the government portal. So I put my name down on the local pharmacy's waiting list, in case they have earlier times. They take two weeks to get back to me with open appointments, and when I open up the email to book a time, every slot is greyed out with no appointments available. Then yesterday I get an email saying there's a pop-up clinic at the local rec centre. There's open appointments all day and for the next week, so I grab one for today. I get there and try to sign in, and the nurse looks at me like I'm crazy and says it's a walk in, there are no appointments.

It feels like my health care system is trying to gaslight me.

GL bro. Most people I talk to just had a bit of tetanus arm and ahead ache but when I got my booster it absolutely knocked me on my ass for two days straight

Is "tetanus arm" code for "how did such a tiny needle hurt my muscle so much I can't lift anything argh"? 'Cause if so, I got that too (no headache, blessedly enough).

Then again I got COVID half a week after the booster shot so joke's on me, lol (had no symptoms, just had to quarantine for ten days and play Three Houses all day).

I think it's less the needle more the huge amounts of foreign things flowing into your veins.
