I cooked for the first time in forever on Halloween and got a tiny burn blister on my finger. Didn't even feel it until the blister burst. More points against cooking.

Opened up the newspaper today to a page 2 article about a British MP who blamed high crime rates among young men on the fact Dr Who and the Ghostbusters are now women. His logic: "all young boys have to look up to as role models are now thugs like Peaky Blinders and Guy Ritchie protags rather than Dr who or 007, so of course they'll commit more crime."

I laughed so hard my coworkers came by to ask if I was okay.

Thought I looked pretty good. The party itself had its downs and ups, but ended on a good note. Of course, no one recognized the costume.
