I was surprised to see that for the first time today after people repeadliy kept saying , "He never wanted to make a H-Game, he just wanted to sell his story better.", in that one thread.

Nasu No, I slow down when it's an H-scene. If it's just a normal H-scene I can finish it pretty quickly, but if I'm writing scripts with a heavy emphasis on its plot, I can't create a discontinuity in the story even if it's an H-scene, and it's very hard to balance parts that's related to the story. After writing something, I'd take a look and say "this is totally wrong" and re-write it. The H-scene needs to be erotic, yet still preserving Shiki's characteristics, it was very difficult. In the end I spent the most time on the H-scenes. Comparatively, you could say the non-H sections are easy, since I just need to write out the story.

It's part of something therefore it affects the quality and enjoyment of a work.

Just because I can skip sex-scenes doesn't magically not make them a part of the work/story.

It's like saying that the gameshow episode doesn't affect the rest of Ergo Proxy.

Quality of sex scenes in this particular work are another story altogether.

Just saying that I accept the theoretical existence of a universe in which the porn (ug, erotic material) actually contributes to a story, or at least doesn't take away from it.

The origin of the existence called "Sakura" is "Senpai Lust," which is a fact that transcends biology, characters, and even franchise. As long as there's a Sakura and a senpai, the conclusion is inevitable, it would have happened with or without Zouken's interference.
