working in product support really has made me realize how stupid support surveys are
basically the only relevant result is perfects 10s in our system. and the survey includes questions like "ease of opening ticket" which has nothing to do with you whatsoever but if that receives a low score it doesn't count as a perfect 10. very smart system!!!!

and i work with business clients who (usually) avoid being pricks. can't imagine working in support which is public facing and dealing with the general public

The funniest parts of those reviews are when they get to the price satisfaction. Your boss starts getting on your case about why it isn't 10/10 like you set the prices and not his bosses bosses boss.

My kitty has been sick for a few days, and it's turned into a vicious cycle of her hating and spitting out the medicine we've got to give her to treat her nausea, leading to her not wanting to eat or drink, making her even more sick. It's making me really worried.

It can be hard, but you're probably gonna have to force her to take the medicine (a good pair of plastic gloves may help if she's doing damage).

Thankfully she is the world's softest baby who has never so much as growled at her parents. She's been eating dry food a bit more today, but the main issue is still that she's not drinking much. Besides getting more injections from the vet, it's hard to get her as much water as she needs by force. So far I've tricked her by dunking treats in her water and feeding her them, and then she gets curious about the tasty water.
