It bothers me that in an era where everyone has the means for photo capture and news agencies have better photo capacities than ever before, I've lost count of the times I see important news online just displaying random stock pics barely related to the fact in question and often repeated from prior articles, rather than the striking images from the moment and place itself we used to have.

Facebook's started recommending local news at me, like I needed a reminder that my county is crawling with morons.

I don't think it's just those. Reporters and journalists seem to be much less critical (in the sense of performing a critical analysis, that is, understanding what's *actually* being said) of politicians' statements and similar. Some headlines these days seem to read more like press statements than actual articles.

Some of that lack of critical thinking is probably a result of Trump and other populists. They were all over it at the beginning but as time rolled on and they just got worse and no-one really cared, they probably stopped trying. You can only yell into the void for so long before you get tired.

Random thought of the day: the problem with having a really great morning work out on a day where you are stuck with ROM restrictions kinda means you have literally nothing else to look forward to that day

Seems like the ideal in that case would be find one who speaks Spanish so you don't understand anything they say.
