Well it really depends on the wider context. I've met some women who actually don't like being around other girls. Without us knowing more about her it's probably hard to say if it is a good or a bad thing.

I have a slight complex about my lack of masculinity in my appearance but for the first time in my life I'm glad to be a slightly girlie guy.

Don't worry. He's just trying to enforce a belief system that doesn't fit with reality onto that reality. Happens all the time.

I have so much respect for DH, having a belief thought as set in stone to then realize most people are actually quite content about its demise is clearly heart-breaking, speaking from experience.

After going through some videogames communities, BL feels so mature in comparison. People take time to write an answer in an argument while respecting the other party as human, an enormous amount of subjects is actually allowed, the mods are able to make a difference between emotion and long term problematic behaviour, and most importantly, people talk about what interests them. Outside, blandness of politically correct and not caring about anything unsettled the fanatic-consumer inside me. All of that to say im quite stressed to create threads and participate, speaking his mind after years of saying what has to be said rather what i think added to the idealisation of the forum doesnt help.

Have you ever been reading an Onion article, scrolled down to the comments and started wondering if someone is being sarcastic or actually didn't get the joke? On one hand, "take that woke moralists" is pretty basic for 9/10 situations. On the other, its hilarious when talking about things like "get kids out of pre-school and into the workforce".

It would be easier if they're wasn't multiple responses to the story of "I don't get it".

Uh, thanks? It might surprise you to learn this, but arguing between four people in the TTRPG thread doesn't really constitute an image of "most people" in regards to pretty much anything. Also, Im pretty confident I'm not imposing any belief systems on anyone by saying Paladins ate best represented by a specific set of attributes and not another, and certainly not arguing with objective reality (unless a real life paladin shows up and tells me otherwise).

You would hope so, but unfortunately it's been reported in a number of different newspapers, both inside Wales and out.

Seems pretty tame to me, but I've grown up with stories about Quebec overreacting to english so I'm pretty biased.

"We're putting you in remedial because you speak too much English" is like the punchline of a bad joke anywhere, but for a country that directly borders England (to say nothing else) is beyond ridiculous and into "you can't be real" territory. I mean, everyone in the non-Anglo-speaking world hates the encroachment of English in our respective languages, but you can't just not learn the lingua franca of the current age.
