Went to turn on my tv this afternoon, and it died on me. Still getting power, but no picture or sound. Since we're in lockdown again this month I could either order online, and wait for 7-10 days without a tv for delivery or go to the only place open, Walmart, and get a cheaper tv right away but with way less selection to choose from.

Eh, a TV is something you'll be stuck with for years, I'd suggest shopping around even if it means having to wait for delivery. ~~Then again I'm still using a CRT relic that's probably older than me so what do I know~~

We just lost our icebox, and it's not like we can buy any replacement anywhere in the foreseeable future, not in a country where one costs like more than a full year's salaries put together.

Right now we're using my aunt's since she lives with us, but I'm well aware that any electrodomestic that decides to go kaput on us at any given time is one we won't be regaining.

I'm just so tired of being so poor and living in this ever surrounding misery.
