Also, to elaborate on how awesome Torchwick is:
His weapon's gun-mode actually did something while used as a long-range weapon.
Nobody else can claim that.
Ragnarok, come day of wrath
That fallen souls might bear our plea.
To hasten the Divine's return.
O piteous Wanderer.
Too bad Adam didn't appear, I was hoping he would be in one of those planes. Rowan is actually quite skilled which caught me by surprise and Sun is growing on me too.
The two greatest things in this episode for me were:
1. PENNY! Dang, RWBY is going to have to watch out for her when the tournament starts.
2. Crimson is hot! And she's the one actually calling the shots which is a nice surprise considering that Torchwick keeps acting like he's the boss of the whole organization.
*Sigh*
Now to wait for season two...
...WHEN!
Lancer x Archer OTPSpoiler:
I don't know if we can actually say she's better than 00 Qan[T] because we never actually see Qan[T] fight.

"AHHHHH PENNY where did you come from"
XD
It took just a few lines for my feeling on Sun to change. Completely. I have to admit I have a new opinion of him. He might be a bit of a scoundrel, but he's a cool scoundrel, he's hilarious and Micheal is doing a fantastic job voicing him.
And SHOTGUN-STAFF-SHUCKS. Those are amazing.
That stare by Blake at his joke was also hilarious.
And Penny -
OHMYGODSHE'SNU
FUCK YES
HOLY HELL
Ruby, you really know how to make friends. Seriously.
Aaaaaand I'm glad Weiss came to the conclusion she did about what's truly important for them now, and she and Blake managed to make up. And Blake's relief and Weiss's smile. D'aww.
Torchwick, as people have said, was once again glorious. It's amazing how he can be such a simple villain in presentation yet be such a great character. His fighting skills were also awesome. He just has that style that is amazing in everything he does.
And speaking of villains.CRIMSONCINDER. Yes. My goodness me, her vooooiiiccee.
Also interesting to see that maaaaaaaybe Penny's related to Qrow? And that Qrow is working as intelligence for Ozpin.
Theories that Penny was specifically built to be used as a weapon against Cinder and co's group, go.
This, was an amazing season finale. Volume 2 when?

A couple of things hit me on rewatching...
Yang looking down after Weiss said, "The innocent never run"...a call-out to the Yellow trailer, perhaps?
Also, Weiss may note that she was right when she decided that Sun was part of the competition last episode.
Quotes & Stuff...No, no stuff, just quotes
After Ozpin finished watching Ruby form his camera thing there was a message from who else but Qrow (yes that is how it's seen) saying "The Queen has pawns" what could he be talking about?
What's the problem and how much of it is your fault?
Ah, Monty Oum's fight scene. How I missed ya. Still magnficent as always.
And I'm glad that Weiss and Blake made up. And with a semi-legit explanation to boot.

Cinder said that "(they) had big plans for Torchwick.".
So presumably she needed someone like him for whatever it is that she wants.
