    So, I just finished the last episode of volume 4 today. Pretty good wrap-up all things considered. Slightly underwhelming compared to the previous volumes but that's kind of necessary after the intensity of part 3. I imagine now that the heroines are all back on the move things will be moving a lot quicker in the upcoming volume(s).

    The battle against that freaky horse Grimm was pretty badass, especially Ren's speech as he hacked away at it at the end (I was totally expecting him to pull out a "My name is Lie Ren. You killed my father. Prepare to die," there). When Nora jumped in front of Ren and the camera cut away I was terrified for a second she'd gotten herself impaled in his place, but thankfully she just ended up pinned to a wall instead. Also kind of out of place shoehorned in pantyshot gag there, though in fairness it did get a chuckle out of me. Good thing Rwby has ANTI-UPSKIRT TECHNOLOGY!

    Nora and Ren make for a ridiculously cute budding couple though. That scene near the end where she was leaning against his shoulder on the helicarrier was just... d'awww.

    Started skipping this volume about 4 episodes in, the still images of the Grimm looked dumb and then I went to see it in motion and found WACKY WAVING INFLATABLE ARMS FLAILING TUBE GRIMM.
    So that's the thing Volume 4 will forever be for me.

    The "centaur"? I'm pretty sure that's the only one people have been talking about.

    Personally, I thought it was pretty freaky, though I can see some people finding the wavy extended arms hard to take seriously.

    Maybe it was just me, but I wasn't freaked out by the Nuckelavee somehow, but I definitely have heard people talk about how scary it was, for some. Other than that, the Finale is alright. Ren gets some payback finally. Before that, Tyrian if I have to guess his name right, wasn't in the best of places lately. Then again, he never was....

    Interesting little short; also didn't expect it this early. Thought we'd be waiting until September/October to get more hype coming toward Vol. 5's debut.

    Seems pretty clear this short is a display of Weiss' very early abilities at the Schnee manor before the series began (before her intro character trailer even) since there's no scar on the left eye. I guess she's remembering that particular part since the last we saw of her in Vol. 4 was her heading to Mistral to look for Winter. :|
