On a more serious note, I've noted a lot of "Did Faunus descend from Grimm?" speculation, based on Blake staring at the statue out front of Beacon and the way her gaze panned down from the huntsman and huntress to the defeated Grimm before she took off her bow. (Me, I wonder if the hooded huntress might have been a Faunus...) One thing I note there is that Pyrrha's discussion of Aura in Ep. 6 seems to nerf that somewhat, where she notes that even animals have souls and Aura, whereas the creatures of Grimm do not. So, Aura user = soul, and therefore Faunus <> Grimm. (Not necessarily in origin, but there's a specific difference.)
By the way, is the official spelling Grimm or Grim? Come to think of it, is there any official source of general information? The wiki is, after all, collected and collated by fans and subject to all kinds of quality control risks. It's not like the Type/MOON wiki, since at least RWBY comes from sources in English and there's not a lot of difficult-to-access data flying around, but...
