I don't think he's a good fighter. He may be, but he seems the type who prefers to not get his hands dirty if he doesn't need to.

As for Torchwick, so far he hasn't seemed to be a fighter (he specifically chose to run when the police were coming, not from Ruby) but he doesn't seem to be a coward.
And I have to wonder what how competent local police are if they can't think to themselves "criminal who tried to rob a Dust stores and ignored all the money* and got away might be the same guy doing the exact same thing to other Dust stores".

We were introduced to this show with a three-minute video of Little Red Riding Hood slaughtering a horde of werewolf-looking monsters with a combination of scythe and high-powered rifle. Knowing that, "robot girl" sounds like a heck of a lot more likely than "mentally challenged young woman." Cool & awesome tech > subtle and delicate characterization, y'know?

Because Yang is freaking fantastic and has a 1000 watt smile. I really don't get it either. Having said that, Ruby, Blake, Weiss and Nora looks fantastic as well. And Ren REALLY reminds me of Syaoran in that outfit.Why is it that Yang's costume really fits on her very well?

I'll be interested to see how this conflict is resolved. Neither of them is right or wrong, but they're actually kind of coming from a very similar place, emotions-wise, in their approach to the issue. It'd be interesting to see how they'd react if they ever realized that.
