It's a lot of exposition.
Liked Jaune's characterization this episode.
Blake still a emo grumpy cat

I think this was the best WoR yet.
It's funny cause it's true.
Wow, that Ruby/Qrow versus Tyrian fight was absolutely incredible. Rwby has definitely recaptured the same glory it had back when Monty was around.
The stop motion was still extremely painful and is definitely not the best they're done with it. It wasn't bad, but it was far from being a great fight scene. Still a long way to go to get anywhere near Monty's level imo.
Anyhow I'm probably late to the party on this, but with everything surrounding Oscar this book suddenly seems much more relevant.

Eh, the stop motion only shows up in the middle of the fight right before Qrow's boxing. And I'd definitely call it their best implementation of it. It's leagues better than the Ruby short, Qrow vs Winter and Weiss vs. robots. It helps that the models are still in very clear active motion even if they're key framing their position(which is the benefit of stop motion with 3D animation). Whereas previous iterations they were just frozen in new positions.
If you don't like stop motion at all, I can understand, but Qrow vs. Tyrian is vastly superior at its usage compared to all other versions in show.

Episode with all four girls.
It's amazing that Yang's had the least time but is the most engaging one. I guess brevity really is the soul of wit.
I'd say least interesting is Ruby's. But Qrow is packaged with her so she ends up in #2 just because his parts have been so good.
Weiss's is just there. It's not great, it's not terrible.
Blake coming up last just cause well most Blake stuff is contrived and angsty and this was no less of either.
If you take out Qrow from Ruby's section it'd go
Yang>Weiss>>>>>>>>>Blake>Ruby

I wasn't talking bout the sections this week I'm talking in general.
Actually the most interesting story is Ozpin's :P
But I agree Yang's story is the most engaging, though I'd rank Blake before Weiss.
Weiss is just beginning her journey, and this is just a prelude (it is interesting knowing her background).
I also agree about Ruby and Qrow. I hope he'll make it.
I wish they'd make a full length movie in the future. The episodes are always too short.
And as always eagerly waiting for the OST.
I think everybody's section is more interesting than Weiss's
The problem with the other two is they're mired in needless bullshit/dull Character wise for Blake and Ruby respectively.
Yang is best girl for me. No further questions asked.
Weiss' problem seems to be the easiest to deal with in that she can run away. There's nothing holding her back now that her father has taken it away. Why she doesn't just gut him like a fish is beyond me, but I guess she's just decent. Blake is just running from her problems until they follow her home, and then ignoring them until it gets Sun stuffed in a fridge. Ruby's problem is that she was being reckless and lost their map, while Yang's is calming down and learning from her mistake while gaining back her confidence. They're contrasting each other.
“Yet the burden shall be shared by two entwined, from which the sword will part from the body and be bestowed upon the vassal to sacrifice themselves and cleave through space and time.”
“Mark upon this unworthy flesh the emblem of the sacrifice, the vassal whose death shall bring forth victory through the fields of steel and blood!”
“The oath is laid here. We are the ones who represent all the good within the pure lands, and we are the ones who judge what is evil within the pure lands. Thou, Seven Heavens clad in three mere words of unequal power, shall emerge from the spiral of control, O keeper of the balance—!”
Is this over yet so I can marathon it.
