Otome wa Boku ni Koishiteru (Otoboku: Maidens are Falling for Me)

Originally an eroge visual novel by Caramel-Box, Otome wa Boku ni Koishiteru (oficially released in english as "Otoboku: Maidens are Falling for Me") tells the story of Miyanokouji Mizuho who finds himself forced to attend an all-girls school because of his grandfather's late wish (don't ask why, it's a porn game). So Mizuho is forced to attend the school while pretending that he's a girl.

The game was originally released in 2005 for the PC. It later gained PS2 and PSP ports without h-scenes (and even some parts of the script modified to make it seems like there wasn't any kind of sexual contact in the first place). The PC version was released in english by MangaGamer just yesterday. A sequel, Otome wa Boku ni Koishiteru 2: Futari no Elder was released a year later. It features the same setting but with different characters. Otoboku 2 is also a sequel of some sorts, since the main character of Otoboku 2 (also a trap) is Mizuho's cousion.

There's a 12-episode anime series that follows Itsukushima Takako's route (somewhat) with a 13rd special OVA that is a parody of Cinderella (in which the character Takako is known as Tsunderella). Otoboku 2 also has three animated OVA. Both series have quite a few light names, audio CDs and also manga.

I'm currently playing the newly released VN. Trying to get into Takako's route for Tsundere deliciousness. Couldn't find a topic for this via the search function, so I created a thread.

Yeah, in the anime for example, it seems like even the animators sometimes forget that Mizuho is a guy. And as a character he's most popular than the heroines, which is something very rare for straight eroge.

Never got around to playing the first one, but I played the second one and I thought it was fairly good.

Yup, I posted the thread because the english version was released yesterday.

I'm playing without a walkthrough and trying to get into Takako's route. Dunno about what options to chose, but I chose something and then she blushed and said some tsundere things, but little hearts appeared alongside her name box, so I guess I'm on the right path.

Still trying to get into Takako's route, but Shion keeps shoe-horning herself in my way. Damn.

Also, the game's CD has a folder named "omake". What's there, you ask? OTOBOKU2'S OP MOVIE. Does this means MangaGamer will also translate Otoboku2?
