Is that a Dune reference I see?
It's there in Mass Effect: I was just considerably less subtle about it.

You trained in German broadsword fighting? What school?
If you can dream—and not make dreams your master;
If you can think—and not make thoughts your aim,
If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster;
And treat those two impostors just the same,

we goin' to new ahleens today i tell ya
Now that's what I like to see, Seika.
Heroism ground beneath grim reality, but still beautiful to behold as its light fades away. Like a star.
And no dialogue to slow it down.

Niiiiiice. I was somewhat confused by the way the Praetorians seemed to disappear for ME3 given how much of a headache they were in 2, especially considering as they just seemed like specialised husk tech, so it's cool to see them getting a mention here.
And even though I know nothing of Nasu-Jeanne, this had me very sad. Very nicely done.
Spoiler:
A pity Gilles de Rais wasn't there. Husks are pretty much walking fodder for his Cthulhu-summoning spell, and it'd be interesting to see him riding to the rescue and actually being the hero that he used to be before he fall into villainy.
Plus, you know, Cthulhu vs Reaper.

Lichtenauer is the one my teacher highlighted, as I said.
Scum. Mordred, get him!
Yeah. You can see the Collector-based enemies - Drones, Guardians and all that - going, but I definitely agree that Abominations, Scions and Praetorians seemed more like 'basic' Reaper slaves.
We're all waiting to learn more about her, really, when Apocrypha comes out. With the little info we have about her now ... I can't imagine you're really behind anyone else.And even though I know nothing of Nasu-Jeanne, this had me very sad. Very nicely done.
He screwed himself over by becoming an evil Wraith. He was never going to get to participate.

Kelnish semantics check!
He never said that. He said "Just what did I..." At least, that's what the BL translation said. Then he got burninated. He could have said "Just what did I eat for breakfast because this indigestion is awful." I like to think that was what the sentence was. Because he was plugged into C'thulu and probably eating some raw squid or something.
He was reconciling the revelation of his own past with who he had become at the time. If you look back at previous revelations he had as servant caster, namely his revitalized faith in god brought about by his master, whether he would actually have a change of heart and repent for what he became or if it was just a temporary second thought that would lead to a renewed vigor in his desire to be sacrilegious is a conclusion I would be loathe to draw.
In Seika's scenario the gates of the throne are laid open for heroes who wish to defend humanity, a man who wants to watch the world burn would be more inclined to eat the defenders than the aggressors methinks. It's important to remember that if you're name isn't King Arthur any character development in a holy grail war is meaningless after your incarnation is over. Giles is recorded as the child murderer Bluebeard and not the Knight Giles de Rais. Whether he's a wraith whose existence was corrupted even further than it had in life by being infused with the mythos of Bluebeard or if he's just a heroic spirit with a bad attitude is unclear to a plebeian non-moon speaker such as myself until his entry in Zero-Material is translated. But regardless of which is true, this preserved spirit is pretty bad news if you're interested in not having C'thulu eat the world.
Are we going to see Japanese heroes?

I've got a published book!
Please go and give it a read!

If an appropriate idea and hero inspired me, I suppose? For now, I've got only one more bonus chapter idea, and it doesn't have any Japanese heroes in.
