I remember reading the first chapter somewhere, so it's nice to see it continued.
Regarding the second chapter, there's really nothing constructive I can think of that needs to be said. So, uh, keep it up, I suppose.
Spoiler:
This has promise, and hopefully Rin will have learned something from fouling up the watch to tone down the vodka.
"Fate/stay night: not really an eroge, and not really a cooking sim, but actually an RPG wherein everyone’s primary stat is “self-loathing” and the goal is to level it up beyond all the other characters."
I think alcoholic Rin is a pretty cool guy. I remember reading the first part a while ago and loved the shit out of it, and seeing it continued makes me smile. I really liked the runic system, it gives Ayako a pretty neat edge without making her a capable magus which would make her tread on other character's territory. And bad luck enchantments make me happy.
psssst will you ever continue The Second Killer? Because I liked that a lot!
Welcome back!
I'd like to see where this is going as well.
It's been enjoyable so far.
It's novel because we don't expect Lorelei to act in such a manner.
In addition to this, are there any other snippets you're thinking of starting/expanding? Has anything been thought on about the Touhou/FSN snippets?
Also who is your new avatar?
What, Lorelei being awkward? I totally expected from the first time I read up on her. I mean, even if she doesn't act over-innocent and retarded like most Japanese writers' idea of it, she was essentially raised with extremely little contact (EDIT: scratch that, no contact at all) with the outside world. Of course any romantic thoughts and actions would be awkward as dick. It's not something that can be taught to deal with that easily, if at all, after all.
As for other stuff, we'll see. What I'm doing now, more than anything, is completing a multi-chapter fic to prove to myself that I can, before anything. After that, well, I'll figure something out.
btw, My new avatar is Black Rock Shooter. If you watch the anime, expect little to no sense being made.

PROCEED.
Hm....
I think mostly because, it's a different thing to see and there's so little of Lorelei written to begin with, so it's interesting to see how she would handle a romantic situation. Not to mention, it's a completely different scenario for Shirou as well, so some of how he handles it and reacts won't be like how he would in canon. I guess really, the answer is it's different, but the way you wrote it, it really worked and I immensely enjoyed reading it.
