Does it disappear if he's killed? Hm..wonder if Astolfo can make the sword his core so that even if the rest of him is destroyed, the sword alone remains...or something like that.

It's a given Jeanne will go out in a blaze of glory. Gotta have that FSN callback with the hero losing his blond waifu

The question is whether or not there will be a together-in-death ending as Sieg uses up the last of his Dead Count Shapeshifter Command Seals. I'm still not entirely clear if Siegfried's heart gave him a blank check on life or it runs out if Sieg uses up the power. The guy's already cheated death so many times with Frankenstein's defibrillator and Rider giving up the thing he rides to save him from Reika's sneak attack.

I had read that the Hippogriff allows Astolfo to journey to the underworld to retrieve one soul from the dead at the expense of never being able to use it again.

Sieg got a refreshed 3 CS after the fight with Caster of Black right? Then he used 1 when against Jack the Ripper? (if this is correct) then he would use the 2nd against Karna but he can't beat him cuz he is Karna then Achilles comes in and saves his sorry ass. Karna and Achilles fights. Karna uses shakti on Achilles but Achilles survives through his unknown 5th nOble phantasm + Battle COntinuation + A rank Endurance. Karna uses every last mana he has to use Brahmastra Kundala against Achilles but the latter uses his spear to wound karna. Achilles dies GAR while Karna heavily wounded. Sieg then goes to Shiroumine before they fight however, he was intercepted by a wounded Karna. Sieg defeats Karna with his final CS but clings to life a little bit. Then its the final showdown: Jeanne and Semiramis; Shirou vs. Sieg. To which, Jeanne ultimately uses her Noble Phantasm to save Sieg's sorry ass again.

What happened to Chiron? Well, he managed to convince Achilles to join their side but he was back stabbed by Kairi's hydra dagger when he was fighting a Mordred who betrayed them (lives up to her badass title) since the two wanted the HGW for themselves obviously. After beating Shiroumine and Semiramis, Sieg, almost dead tries to reach the GG to destroy it but Mordy appears. Sieg transforms to Siegfried again miraculously without a command seal and fights mordy who was exhausted in her fight against Chiron-sensei. Evenly match, Sieg convinces the two to destroy the GG cuz its not good. Mordy and Sieg uses Clarent and Balmung respectively and destroys the Grail to infinity.

Petty sure that's what will happen, given the immense amount of bullshit required for events to come to pass.

There is a distinct lack of the best girl of Apo in that theory, so no dice.

I think Astolfo's role is only to break through the barrier with Luna Break Manual. I think after that his role (aside from a spark for Sieg) ends.

I think so.

Shirou seems to banking on it, as his grand master plan depends on the Grail using the Third on all of humanity.
