Draw a pic every day. Anything you see. People in a bus, flowers by the road, a dog chained by the market, crates in the corner on your part time job, whatever. It's the first thing they tell you on an art school, too. After that it depends on individual learning methods, I learn way more from making mistakes and looking at them, than being explained how it's supposed to be done, so I need to allow myself to screw up, but there are people who learn most by watching other people do it(which is different from it being explained), people who learn by thinking about it really hard... search your feelings etc. A good rule of thumb is just keep doing it and make a bit more than you wanted to do at the beginning every time. The latter keeps it from becoming a chore.

Heheh, thanks for the advice, I appreciate it a lot. It'll probably take me a long time to improve because once school starts again I will have no time to draw, blargh.

When you draw seriously, you just pile sketchbook upon a sketchbook and paper upon paper, and it's all just staying somewhere forgotten in your house, if you're not self-hating enough to just burn it all.

While cleaning the house, I had to relocate some old papers, browsed them to see how far I've come, and found a whole bunch of never before seen Type-Moon fanart of exceedingly poor quality, dating back to the years 2006-7.
