So, FIBA WC has officially started. (Actually, it started yesrerday, but as of today all teams have had their first game). Hype up your country's teams or whatever.
Greece went in with a bunch of notable absences (The Greek Freak, Kostas Sloukas, Kostas Antetokoumpo), and our best scorer in the preparation games suffered a last minute injury so we're down to 11. Suffice it to say, we're not really finalist material this year.

BTW regarding the earlier "team names" talk, turns out our team has one I had completely forgotten/wasn't even aware of as a "name", because it's weird: "The official beloved" ("Η επίσημη αγαπημένη"). I have no idea how or why that came up or why it's used as a moniker, but it is.
