Nasuverse in a Nutshell
I've got a little problem. I'm up to the part in chapter 5 where Aoko and Soujuurou get attacked by the puppet, but whenever I get to the bit where Aoko dodges the second attack, the graphics disappear and this message appears in a window:

I've tried deleting the files specified and going back to that point in the game, but the same thing still happens. Does anyone know what to do?

I ran through the scene and can't replicate the problem on my end. Can you post a screenshot of your patch folder?
I wanted to see the actual patch.xp3 files to make sure there was nothing obviously wrong there. The problem is the align function used there is added by the system patch (patch.xp3) and for some reason it's not finding it. Try downloading the patch again and see if that fixes it.
Ah, it worked after redownloading. I think the problem happened because I used your updated patch.xp3 file (the one that you said fixes some word wrap issues). The original patch.xp3 file works fine.
Thanks for the help!

That's... weird? The align macro works fine for me (development version).
can anyone else confirm the updated system patch really breaks the game?
If redownloading fixed it, then it was probably just a bad download. The system patch in the mega folder is the most recent one, after all.
So how good is this compared to the other type moon works should I read it after tsukihime
its good
It's good.
Raised my expectations for Tsuki remake a lot though.
The scenery porn'll do that.
Is there any particular meaning behind the names of Aoko's attacks?
Like Alice ploys are based on nursery rhymes and children's stories
But what do Snap, Crack, Glider and Starmine have in common?
Also they might be preexisting spells that she's just taken over; Roa also throws around Snap.
Localizationing stuff
Starmine is a kind of firework display, and I think starbow may come from bow shocks or some other astronomy thing. It comes from how she visualizes her spells. Snap is probably a reference to how her most basic spell is just "snapping" her arm to shoot magical energy.
Mostly I think Nasu just likes chuuni shouting your attack names, though. (This is supported by script comments.)
thought Aoko's normal attack were taken from SE of American comics.
