Beast's Lair Integrated Wiki Revisited

Posting poll here because it matters the most to lurkers and members who dwell in this holy sanctum.

With the Seika doc growing and taking longer and longer to load, and people complaining about slow update on the complete material site, perhaps it is time to revisit the notion of a BL wiki.

The positive will be:
1) everyone will be able to contribute to the BL canon (which hopefully will be the standard this side of the pond)
2) update of new knowledge will be much speedier
3) finding particular item/piece of information will be easier
4) eliminate obvious questions from being asked over and over again

The negative will be:
1) really there's no negatives besides some degrees of de-centralized control and somewhat decreased accountability on the information, but this can easily remedied by binding wiki accounts with forum accounts
2) costing money

I think it's a good idea. The only real thing that made me hesitant to say yes the last time it came up was the possibility of edit wars over certain topics but I don't think that possibility exists anymore.

Certainly, I'd be in favor of it. The major selling point for me is your #2; the wiki format makes the same information in the Seika document easier to find; it's a long doc and I'm sure that I for one have missed an answer to one of my questions or two just because of a lack of indexing. And the higher quality of info available from the BL forum-dweller would help to offset the flaws of the existing Type-MOON wiki (which is why people like me show up and ask dumbass answered-five-tives-already questions in the first place).

I believe it was $70 with yearly renewal at $30, which is not inconsiderable but certainly not insurmountable.

Worst case scenario, some ad on Wiki. $30 bucks a year of upkeep is not really a big deal split between the 4-5 people who is running BL.

I think the Seika doc idea is silly considering we already have a Seika doc. A more reliable wiki is fine by me.

Oh back on the wiki topic, well my decision hasn't changed a bit since I first started trying out wiki's and such so I would definitely be on board.
