I'm sort of unsure how to place my feelings about the ending, I feel like its too lighthearted but the middle section was pretty lighthearted. Also was it just me or did a lot of things just happen with no foreshadowing(like Gargantia suddenly having advanced weaponry)?
I'm not sure if I consider this anime a 6 or a 7, its like a 6.5.

Did anyone else notice hoe mecha-pilot-protag-ish Pinion looks without the pompadour?
Man, Pinion without his pompadour really does emit some kind of super harem pheromones. Also, 10 Urobutchers out of 10, the man's done it again. I feel much despair over losing best character. Looks like he's trying a different approach of quality over quantity.
Well, all in all, Suisei no Gargantia was okay. I felt the mid-part did drag on a little too long, but the third act is pretty nice. Would not mind a season 2, maybe even see more Galactic Alliance "coincidentally" crash-landing on Earth.

Madoka overall was better but the ending to Gargantia was much better. Mostly because Madoka's ending was sort of a nonsensical asspull.

Cannot wait until the inevitable SRW debut so that I can totally prevent Chamber's heroic sacrifice and keep me an extra unit for when I need some more manpower in the game's later, difficult missions/something to help me get those battle masteries more easily.

..Although looking more closely, Melty does somewhat give off that feeling, especially because of the pose of her hands. Reminds one too much of the double-V pose.

He gives off the feeling of getting worse because he isnt actually getting worse, but is just extremely stagnant. Most artist's get better over time, Ishikei doesnt change at all. Also he can only draw two kinds of facial expressions

Agree on the Melty part. You also can see that the POV seems to be looking upwards. My guess is that they're cheering while clapping if you notice the fingers and hands above the edge of the picture.
