Sometimes they do change VAs, though that's pretty rare. Not the same case, but Suiseiseki from Rozen Maiden had different VAs in the CD Dramas and in the anime, for example.

Well I wasn't expecting what they did to the OP, I guess it's good they're doing something different but I liked the game's OP better. Oh, and I forgot to mention this after I watched the first episode, but the reason you probably like the music so much I3uster is because it's the same guy who does the music for Suda51's assassin series (Killer 7, No More Heroes, Killer is Dead).
Is a bit disappointing to see so much of the idle character chit chat cut out, I wanted to see Junko crush all of Naegi's hopes and dreams.

Ok, here's one amature detective's thoughts:
She was in his room. His room was locked. She was found in the bathroom, which, presumably, only she, protag and Monobear knew how to open without fiddling with it. Her broken wrist has paint or something that was on the katana that was in his locked room, the one she was in, and the katana was sharp enough to carve into the wall, ceiling and floor, but she was killed with a knife, leaving behind some message that I don't feel like analyzing because I doubt it would get me anywhere anyway. Protag is innocent, audiance already knows this, assuming the narrator can be trusted, and that fool seems too trustworthy for his own good, but they went ahead and gave the audiance proof that he did not do it anyway, and to top it off, the plates on their rooms seem to have been changed (?) Let's ignore what is most likely shaman guy's crystal ball and someone's burnt and bloodied shirt sleeve...

Someone, presumably someone that she trusted convinced her to unlock the door last night, saw the katana, perhaps impulsively, used it as a weapon and tried to kill her, but missed, several times it seems, until she fled in the bathroom, which the culprit did not have access too... And she killed herself in the bathroom. That will count as suicide, not murder, and the real murderer will get off without being executed by a technicality, but that will just make shit get real, and cause this overly trusting protag to learn not to trust anyone in the situation he is in... Or something like that.

I kind of said "fuck it" to watching the anime after being largely bored through the first episode so I don't even know what you're talking about.
Awesome episode is awesome but they've skipped some clues in the investigation. Probably they'll be mentioned in the next episode which should cover the trial.
Loved the OP, eagerly waiting the CD release of it alongside the ending song.
Lovin' the use of BGM from the VN and the characters making the same poses as their sprites, it feels like I'm playing it all over again.

Sexy Monokuma dancing OP, and lol Asahina boob flash. Guess Lerche still likes their dancing. Ending's pretty nice too. Liked how they did the Investigation part, showing everything yet keeping the good stuff hidden so that they can use it later. If the trial takes the whole episode next time, will we get enough episodes for the rest? Then again the rest should be quite fast-paced too.
From the Evidence part, I think we can see some flying evidence bullets next episode? Wonder how silly it will look. Climax comic with Climax Return please.
