Since there doesn't seem to be a thread for this one yet. Will probably check out the most recent episode this Friday.
snipsnip, cry and piss.
on a more serious (if you can be about this series) note, they really upped the porn levels in episode 3.
i like the opening.
also, hair porn and Sweeney Todd.
seriously though, they knew this; what kind of insensitive parents did that guy have for them to call him "Kiri"...
'sall good, at least he wasn't named shiki.
judgment dude is pretty amazing. i wonder if they'll make him final boss for anime, or if he'll end up like in the manga.
...speaking of which, i wonder how many levels in porn they'll put out during the scene when kiri and iwai are on top of each other after the party. or if that'll even be animated.
as long as he doesnt start putting her hair in his pants i guess its okay...
Series was weird and cool. Now I get to enjoy it all over again. Neat.
My Fanfics. Read 'em. Or not.McJon01: We all know that the real reason Archer would lose to Rider is because the events of his own Holy Grail War left him with a particular weakness toward "older sister" types.![]()
Basically this. The anime is being a fucking amazing adaptation so far. They're really nailing down the ambiance and creepiness/eeriness of the scenes that were already fresh with it.
And of course, the fetish levels. Just... goddamn amazing. xD
... If this scene is animated, it might just make my heart explode in elation. OvO

The first two episodes didn't quite make sense, but the third episode made me glad I'm watching this.
Despite his odd fetish, Kiri is oddly likable. Perhaps its because of his first name? XD

Oh no, I was scared that a thread about hair fetish would be made but it's surprisingly tame.
I love the anime though, especially the hair. That hair looks really pretty so I can understand why Kiri would like it.
Infinite long straight hair is good.
Just watch me.

Fetish of the day: fainting.
Asphyxiation, rather. Same diff.
The good thing about Iwai's hair growing out every night is that we get to see her in new hairdos pretty much every episode. That's eye candy I can get behind.
So yep. Music was great, we get some new characters, and all in all we got an episode that was not only relaxing but also served as good buildup for later events.

Judgment is in the OP, but with the current pace, actually reaching the party seems like it might be rushed, or they'll cut out the actual GOSSIP arc. Not sure if happy or not.
Out of curiosity does anyone else get a sort of Tohno Shiki vibe from the main character?
... wait, so his name is actually Nakajima Seigi, as opposed to Nakajima Justice? (even if they mean the same thing xD)
Well, the translated version of the manga I was reading pulled a fast on on me then.
Getting to see Iwai in new hairdoes every week is definitely a positive, and seeing her make up with the Byouinzaka was adorable. On both ends.
That said, something occurred to me. I think Kiri might actually be the most unstable of the Authors that are still sane. Or becoming the most unstable one, anyways.
You can't treat Authors as purely independent entities, you must consider their Insteads as well.
Kiri & Iwai sanity check against other Authors & Insteads in the anime so far:
vs Death Piano playing couple... Yeah, they are probably more sane.
vs the Byouinzaka sisters... debatable.
vs Judgement and his SM Cop Instead... No. Kiri is definitely more stable than that. Well, its not obvious this episode, but you will see, should it follow manga storyline.

No no no, I do read the manga. But you see...
All the other Authors only simulate murder (to appease the curse of the Killing Goods and prevent themselves from going insane) on a need-to basis in most cases. They're dependent on their Insteads for this, obviously.
But when it comes to Kiri and Iwai, this is not a burden as much as something that is important, and even enjoyable, for both of them. And they do it on at least a daily basis. Consider that for a second. Kiri is more used to simulating murder than any of the other authors on the less psychotic side of things. Ergo, we could argue he's become more dependent on it without even realizing it.
Now then, what do you think will happen if he is not able to freely do this anymore?
And manga readers, I recall something happening in the latest translated chapters (that I've read at least) that is relevant to this discussion. I ask you the same question. What do you think will happen?
There's also Kiri saying that Norland was the best killer, too. And since the goods' curses rely on their history, much like noble phantasms, his Goods probably have a pretty strong curse. Well, also think about the other curses that got through and made Goods--Injecting got made even though the number of deaths it supposedly wrought were few. Next one didn't even kill anyone, iirc, but got lol-powered up.
