I have no intention of insulting Tobias or making him seem like he doesn't know what he's talking about, but a student is not a doctor nor do they have the same level of knowledge. You are taking it out of context - He was saying my opinion was wrong, I said his is no more valid than mine unless he is a doctor. Students cannot diagnose people or prescribe drugs or treat people. They are in a classroom learning things. I did not say a couple freshman classes either - I said nearly all of us have taken college level psych courses. No disrespect, no matter how much you want to try to redirect this into that.

while the quote was out of context i was talking more so about the conversation leading up to it, since pretttttyyy sure everyone here isn't majoring in Psych , so if "nearly everyone" did take college level psych classes they wouldn't be the higher level ones
and yeah im not saying its the same thing as a doctor either, because it definitely isnt, but i am saying grad student/post-ba probably has more authority than that "nearly everyone" since, again, they've spent years studying it

im not trying to redirect it that way, im just saying that is the way it came off to me
and sorry, i tend to be a little touchy about that kind of thing since i am getting my BA in a month or two and would like to think I do have some authority on the issue and havent just been wasting the years spent doing this
