Yeah, Saria could have had some random forest magic moveset. They gave Ruto a moveset, there isn't anything really stopping them from giving Saria a similar moveset.
And Darunia isn't very interesting looking, but at least people stopped complaining. The villains being playable is looking more likely now too. So that adds more males too.

Impa with her naginata looks really fun to mess with. And Sheik's shtick with her harp has the ocarina songs from OoT, with each one leading to a different effect.

Seeing it in the DLC trailer, I definitely do like the Wind Waker, even if it looks like it's not as efficient as other movesets. And Lana's Deku Stick moveset looks like fun.
