well, that was fun. corrin trapped an enemy troubador against a wall and two pillars, so he couldn't do anything. Corrin's regular attack did 0 damage, but his special did 1, so he slowly chipped away at the troubador for about 45~exp per point of damage
got about a full level from that guy (including the kill)
Linger: Complete. August, 1995. I met him. A branch off Part 3. Mikiya keeps his promise to meet Azaka, and meets again with that mysterious girl he once found in the rain.
Shinkai: Set in the Edo period. DHO-centric. As mysterious figures gather in the city, a young woman unearths the dark secrets of the Asakami family.
The Dollkeeper: A Fate side-story. The memoirs of the last tuner of the Einzberns. A record of the end of a family.
Overcount 2030: Extra x Notes. A girl with no memories is found by a nameless soldier, and wakes up to a world of war.
Yeah, Sharena is surprisingly amazing. Though a lot of that has to do with Rally Attack. Rallies are really freaking good. Been running a team that has her and Nowi in it, so I get Rally Attack and Rally Defense.
I'd also like to ascend Anna to 3-star, since she gets Vantage. But she's stuck at level 17 or 18 because literally everything she can get EXP from does like 90% of her health in damage to her.
I'd still recommend Fire Emblem 7 (Blazing Sword) for newcomers. It has a tutorial mode with Lyn to help new players through the ropes, which explains things quite well and I do like the story of the Elibe games. I guess Awakening or Scared Stones is another decent place to start, but I prefer 7.
I don't really agree with this. All Awakening offers is same-turn reinforcements on hard, but these aren't done all that well compared to 6 in which I didn't mind them as much and I say this after I just played Ostia castle today and was forced to restart, because of said reinforcements. Pair up doesn't really have all that much depth to it and is just there to make units more broken, some skills are also pretty broken and reclassing is probably the worst of it
I also didn't enjoy the games maps that much. The story, which is nice, is the best thing about it. Well that and that it saved the franchise. Still maybe that has more to do with the better marketing and maybe casual mode, but it's not like Awakening introduced casual mode to begin with. Also in my opinion rescue is a way better mechanic than pair up. One relegates characters to (almost) stat boosters while the other allows for some interesting decisions, although partially because Canto is kinda broken. Speaking of which I was quite glad to see "rescue light" return in Fates with the Shelter skill.
Alright fair enough about the reclassing, but Scared Stones allows you to grind as well so if need be you could just start out with that and only miss out on reclassing.

If you're going to start with the GBA titles, you may as well just start with 7 since it chronologically takes place before Roy's FE (did this one ever come stateside or only fan translation?). You don't miss out on much skipping Sacred Stones.
Sacred Stones is a better game than Sword of Seals
no fullbody for that reindeer tharja mine saddens me
Actually I would go so far as to say that Sword of Seals is just generally not great. Zephiel is cool I guess?
I got Takumi again
Takumi +2 now...
Code:[07:55:59] <Spinach> Take off your clothes Kirby [07:56:07] <Kirby> I'm in class [20:37:34] <Lian|phone> there is a such thing as lingerie for guys? [20:37:54] <Kyokushi> yea [20:37:57] <Kyokushi> they're called jockstraps [20:38:02] <Lian|phone> :o [20:38:07] * Lian|phone googles [20:38:10] <Kyokushi> NO [20:38:11] <Kyokushi> DON'T [20:40:07] <Lian|phone> okay [20:40:16] <Lian|phone> I don't think I should have googled that [12:59:30] <Spinach> call me onii-chan, bitch [13:00:12] <kroyo> imma fuck ur shit up onii-fam
Is merging actually worth it, tho? I heard it only gives accumulated SP and meager stat boost, like only +1 DEF or something.
You might as well raise all the Takumis and play counter all day long, lmao.
Something
Stones has like zero memorable characters and FE without good characters can hardly called better than anything
In mean time after getting my dream team Lynn and SR Cecilia I can't access game for 12 hours already. I really hope they fix it so I don't have to bother with re-roll fest again.
Oh yeah, I think I vaguely remember there was someone named Erika...
I remember her because she was quite annoying.

^^The same for me but also Joshua (and his pimpin' hat), Myrh (the local dragon girl) & Lyon (the long haired JRPG pretty boy that needs to be stopped cuz' evil).
The story also doesn't really leave much of an impact aside from the little interesting event tidbits like the traitor & his zombie wife as well as the supposedly ancient Manakete guy getting gimped & also zombified.
I can't play the game anymore as of about 5 hours ago. Getting an error code 803-3001. It's a title menu loop when I try to start the app.
My phone isn't rooted or anything either. And I already got what I wanted through gacha (spent a little), but hadn't linked my account yet.
Sent an e-mail to Nintendo at [email protected]. Going back and forth with the support reps now but chances are I'll have to wait for a patch.
To their credit, I received a response within minutes and it's not even 5AM Pacific Time yet.
This sucks. It seemed to be a smooth launch at first.
