I'm out of the loop what kind of mini-games or rather which trailer has shown them? Either way kinda annoying. Also romhacks are pretty great, especially since the GBA games are usually the base and I love how those work. Simple, but with decent depth. For example you see a Berserker or Swordmaster and know they'll have +30 crit.

I don't really follow Engage news since I'm not sure yet what to think of it. Has a lot of worrisome things right from the first trailer, but maybe it'll turn out to be good after all. Then again story reason for "Avatar" worship is already somewhat of a read flag.

approach to story and character presentation from what i've seen so far
the story beats are very awakening
haven't paid attention to all the new mechanics
breaks are new and not something like from previous games
no durability weapons, so fates

story aside might be a decent game, although question remains open how difficult the game is given the rings mechanics are fairly insane
at least lunatic is on release feature unlike 3h
there is also suspicious screenshot floating around with something called "growth mode" on game start, so that might be customizable for subsequent playthroughs

although i still abhor the visual look of engage, and not even on technical side, that one seems okay so far
but the design is awful, not only characters but the interface is so fucking ugly
