I've only played 7 (And know almost every trick, bug, endings and such, only completed like 73% of support conversations), 8 and 9. I wish I had money to buy consoles to play the following ones, or a PC that could handle a decent DS emulator...

A question for everyone: Who is your favorite Lord?

I like to consider my Lords as both characters and units.

The best character would be either of the Renais twins.

The best unit would be MOTHER FREAKIN' SIGURD.

The one who represents the best of both would probably be Ephraim.

I played 8 first. Then "studied" further into the series.

The Geek: Eh, I don't really like them lords... but I only have FE 8 as a first-hand experience, but if I have to make a pick based from what I see from people's gameplays, I think I still have to pick Ephraim. Even when he was still a Lord, I'd say he's quite tank-y.

Although I like the crit-crazy guys and the assassins a lot (and this, by extension, goes to Volke too even though I can't play his games due to my inability to get a console) - but only when I got them Killing Edges (Killer Axes for them Berserkers). Now that I think back on it, RNG seems to be angry I didn't give a damn about her existence even when she was blessing me with a lot of Silencers. :V

Basically having a maxed Assassin with a Killing Edge/Shamshir (I believe this'd be Wo Dao in FE6/7) feels like I just hacked the game.

Well, lords...
My favorite one is Lyndis, then Hector, and then Ephraim/Eirika. I didn't like Marth, hated Elliwood and despised Roy.
Lyndis is just the best lord there is: Attack from long and close range, nobody can't touch her (AWESOME speed/luck) and made critical hits like 7 out of 10 times. And as a character, she was like a kind avenger lol. Then Hector for his bluntness as a character, and as a unit one of (if not) the best tank there is, and supper strength.

I hated Elliwood Lordliness, (too much prince charming) and was one of the worst units there are, and in his route, you had to take him to every chapter and you could promote him almost in the end, so it was very difficult to train him (unless you are in hard mode).
And, like father, like son. Roy worst unit till the end of the game, and his promotion WAS EXACTLY THE SAME. I almost get rid of the game the moment I changed his sword (because you can only use it like 20 times (unless you waste all the hammerns on it).

Eirika and Ephraim were cool, but not awesome. At least they weren't all lordy.

Favourite Lord: Ike for sure.
He is simply a great character and absolutely rigged in FE9, my favourite.

Wow, the FE12 patch is finally finished.
The remakes were decent and all but still looking forward to more original content.
Why... are all the new FE all on handheld, why no more console....
Fire Emblem has been great since FE5 and I simply can't wait for the next one.

Shadow Dragon isn't bad persay, just not as good as the others. And nobody dodges. Ever.

Also the 12th fixes pretty much every bad thing Shadow Dragon did (starting with adding supports and going from there.)
