Which from the Kamui level, dragonstone, and number/presence of characters is more than likely after the chapter 6 split, it's more likely that both sides get both maids.
That's maid power for you! Their loyalty is not to some "country" or "nation" but to their employer!

Next new catch from Serene's Forest: Destructable Armor(?)Stripping enemies is a thing apparently.
As you can clearly see, enemies appear to have their armor knocked off by Marx and Kamui. This may be a visual thing, or it may be an effect to prevent heal spam by weakening characters' defense as they tank hits.
Not sure what it does though. Lower defense?

No, if you find out that they diverted some ideas from SMT x FE before it took on its current form, and you find out that Persona 2's Nyarlathotep is the true mastermind before events.

More seriously, I might be leaning toward Hoshido at the moment - from the standpoint of not being the aggressor they seem more sympathetic at the moment (though that could change, and we'll have to see what sort of development both sides have in the first 6 chapters), their character designs generally appeal to me more, and a similar freedom of gameplay as Awakening, insofar as what they've revealed about the gameplay differences between the Hoshido and Nohr indicate. But this is, once again, subject to change pending new information.
I wonder if either faction is going to have any exclusive classes to emphasize the cultural differences between the two. You know, Nohr-only or Hishido-only classes.

For starters, it could be that Pegasus Knights are Hoshido-only while Wvyren Knights are Nohr-only.
Going by this, the first FE anime is gonna be an anime romcom.
